A full bellows tongue is folded and attached to the shoe to provide a watertight seal, with the storm welt providing an additional water resistant seal between the shoe's upper and sole. The profile of a Bourton is characteristically strong; with a solid sole unit, leather linings and the option of a traditional leather or Dainite sole for practicality.
